Lucid Pictures was founded in the hope of nurturing and spreading the love for the seventh art via the screens.

In this project, I worked with a team of 15 members to produce “Chapters of you” that told my story growing up as a queer guy. I also collaborated with artists, designed 20 social media posts about cinema history.

2. Kuleshov effect: 

The Kuleshov Effect, as known as “movie magic”, is an effect demonstrated by Soviet filmmaker Lev Kuleshov in 1921. Just by rearranging the sequence of the shots, filmmakers will become brilliant magicians, manipulating their audience’s mind as far as they wish. With “Kuleshov Effect the magical wand”, they can build up their own new worlds, arousing new emotions and connecting the incredibles.

Through the first phase, followers earned a chance to know more about the history of cinema as well as filmmaking techniques and practices from 1896 to the present. Taking the concept of a time traveling train, readers were taken on a surrealistic and highly imaginative trip through the blog caption, graphic posters and videos.
